🗣The Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Superstar SUPEREARTH is the brand-new collaboration that’s currently in the works between the legendary German brand and Sean Wotherspoon. The duo are teaming up for the first time ever, and it’s safe to say that the entire sneaker community are gearing up for this high profile release. The Superstar is currently celebrating it’s 50th anniversary, making it a topical silhouette for the Round-Two owner to add his signature touch too. While limited images of the pair currently exist, it’s widely known that the theme of the collaboration will be sustainability, given the fact that Sean himself is a proud vegan. The Superstar Super Earth will be thought to be entirely vegan-friendly and constructed from upcycled fabrics. Teaser images from Sean Wotherspoon’s Instagram post showcase a multi-coloured embroidered floral print on each side, continuing the vibrant colour schemes seen throughout the American fashion designer’s previous collaborations. Other crazy features include paper laces, a cork insole and composite padding, with the sock liner crafted from waste rubber!
Like many, we’re eager to see the rest of the shoe as it’s Sean’s first ever work with the three stripes brand. If you’re looking to get your hands on this high heat adidas collab it’s worth noting that they’ll definitely be very in-demand, and are classified as a high-heat release!
